That's Entertainment Summer Camp!!

For the past 3 summers my girls have LOVED doing a fun summer musical theatre workshop, called That's Entertainment. They go everyday for 2 weeks and learn fun new songs with choreography, they have the opportunity to do solos and speaking parts too. On Friday evening they show off their production to all the families...it is so much fun. The theme this year was School of Rock, so all the songs were about Rock and Roll! My girls loved every minute of it, Kendyl even used her own money to pay for the workshop this year! Kelsey is still singing the songs and doing the actions from their camp! I think it is worth every penny!!
Kelsey was with the younger group this year, heres some kids in the neighborhood

My Baby Boy turns 5!!

I can't believe this little boy is now 5 yrs. old! It seems like just yesterday I brought home my 10 pound, dark-headed, chubby little boy on Father's Day! He is our crazy, silly, outgoing little boy, who is always looking for a friend to play with and making us laugh! He has such a fun personality and loves following his big brother around all day! He is so spoiled as the baby of our family, especially by his brother and sisters, who always give in to him!! He is quite the little fish these days, and loves to swim! He loves to eat any and all junk food and won't touch a fruit or vegetable! His favorite food is pizza, preferrably cold..he is a night owl, he tries to keep up with his siblings and does a pretty good job at it. We call him our little college boy, because he is usually up late, chillin with cold pizza and junk food! I love this spunky little boy and am so glad he is a part of our family! We had a family BBQ and swim party for his b-day, and he also had his first "friend" party.
Carter opening his Bakugan toys

Grandma Moody got him this boat, and they had to try it out that night! They love it!

For his friend party, the boys brought their lightsabers to fight "Darth Vader", Shalynn borrowed this costume from his cousin...it looked so real it scared some of the boys..the light saber was awesome, the boys kept getting in line to fight him. It was hilarious!

Cade was Obi-wan, and taught the boys some jedi moves before Darth Vader came out!

Carter and his buddy Jono

Carter is off to kindergarten! I can't believe it! My little boy is now 5, but he will always be my black headed baby!

Happy Father's Day!

We had a great Father's Day on Sunday. Kendyl and I went to my cousins homecoming, and we were home about an hour before everyone else came home from our ward. We whipped up some french toast, vanilla syrup, bacon, fresh fruit/whipped cream, and orange juice. We had a yummy brunch! I am so thankful for the fathers we have in our lives. We are so blessed. My dad is the best example and leads such a Christ-like life. I have so many wonderful memories and have learned so much from him by his quiet example of service and love. My father in law is also a wonderful example to me, as he spends each day caring for his handicapped wife. He is amazing and I admire him so much! Shalynn is also a wonderful father to our children. He spends quality time with each of them and they just adore him. He is so good to wrestle, tell stories, play, swim, and help them to learn and grow. I am sooo grateful for these AWESOME fathers in my life!!
Kendyl with our spread of food, she is quite the french toast maker!!
We made a candy bar poster for Shay this year. The kids got a kick out of it! Kelsey loved it because her nickname is "Dove" and we put a Dove bar instead of her name at the bottom!

Happy Father's Day!!

End of school parties and goodbyes!

Carter had a little preschool/playgroup the last few months of the school year. Here they are enjoying their last day together before the big siblings come home for the summer. Carter, Sophie, Tate, BoBo, Chloe, and Rori

Kendyl's Dance Recital

Kendyl has really enjoyed dance this year! Her recital was held on May 15th. She was in 3 dances: ballet, jazz and their "Rock and Roll Show" that they performed all year. It was so fun to watch her dance, she loves it and has improved a lot this year. Kendyl and Brenly with their trophies after the recital
